Roll & Play from ThinkFun

See the full review at www.timetoplaymag.com Roll & Play is a game specifically designed for toddlers that introduces them to the basics of gameplay. Through the play, children are also introduced to colors, counting, animals, and more. To play, simply toss the big plush cube and identify which colored side faces up. Choose a matching color card and perform the simple activity shown on the card. There are six card categories for each of the colors on the cube: Emotions (yellow), Body Parts (purple), Animal Sounds (green), Counting (orange), Colors (blue), and Actions (red). For example, an Emotions card might say, "Make an angry face" and show an image of a child with an angry face. Once you've acted out the activity on the card, roll the cube again. You can make the game as long or as short as you want because there is no "object" to this game. No one player will be crowned the winner. You just keep rolling the cube and acting out what's on the cards for as long as you want. The game comes with a large plush cube, 48 activity cards (eight in each category), a storage pocket on the cube for the cards, and an instructions and parent's guide. Roll & Play is for two or more players.
